Mirage Bookmark – Swiss makers of fine bookmarks; their site has a exhibition of bookmarks from around the world.  Also check out their Most Interesting Bookstores of the World which includes the Aalto-designed Academic Bookshop in Helsinki (more here).

These days my bookmark of choice is a blank catalog card.  I’ve got a stack of them, no longer needed for a card catalog but great for marking one’s place in a hardcopy book.
