Great library, website adventure
Saw this great Venetian library renovation in Lotus 151 (p 42) by Michele De Lucchi, the Biblioteca di Storia dell’Arte in a wing of the Fondazione Cini, a former dormitory for Benedictine monks.
If you have a few minutes, treat yourself to a visit to De Lucchi’s website, aMDL (see links to both of his sites here; the other is small-scale craft work). The initial page is a short, mysterious travel adventure though his projects. The site is a bit puzzle-like, but what really blew me away is that he’s got a separate site for the archives of his projects. For example, here’s info on the library, in Italian but also with photos.
